Lanner today launched the NCA-5540, a high performance 1U rackmount network security appliance with Intel® Xeon® Processor Scalable Family (Sapphire Rapids-SP) & Emmisburg PCH. The introduction of the NCA-5540 fulfills network service providers’ demand for a more robust and flexible hardware platform that delivers optimal network computing performance and modest ownership costs.
With its support for Intel® QuickAssist Technology and up to 768GB of DDR5 system memory at 4800 MHz, the NCA-5540 greatly maximizes packet processing efficiency for virtual network functions, cryptography acceleration (for deep packet inspection) and next-generation firewall and UTM/IPS/IDS applications.
For optimal networking services, the NCA-5540 comes with either 4x NCS2 or 2x N2S NIC module slots, making the NCA-5540 the perfect network appliance for optimizing network traffic management and for enhancing virtualized network security.
